Our Senior Editor told us about New Moscow at the Press Festival.

New MOSCOW 24 / july 2016 / = On June 12, 2016, an awards ceremony was held to recognize retailers and publishers of periodical press. This spontaneous participation in the event was a first for the “New Moscow 24” newspaper, perhaps that is the reason we haven’t received any certificates of appreciation or gifts. Plus, our newspaper is distributed free of charge. We were quite late with our registration for the festival, but what an experience that was!

The organizers gave us an entire kiosk at Park Pobedy (Victory Park) to distribute the first ever independent newspaper to be published in the new realms of the capital. Residents of both Old and New Moscow picked up several thousand copies of our newspaper before it was even lunchtime, so we had to be quite thrifty with them closer to the end. The Senior Editor of the newspaper, Vitaly Ataev-Troshin, spent several hours talking to Muscovites and visitors about present and future events in New Moscow.

The Press Fair opened at 10 o’clock. At 11 the concert program began. People filled the square despite the heavy rain. The concert featured famous singers, such as Anton Zatsepin, Danila Dunaev, Babizz, Mark Yusim, MusicHike, Pavla, Sveta Gera, Tatiana Shurupova, OneZim, Mayakovsky, Alisa Fox and Tony Di, Dmitry Kaminsky, Basker, Tinto Brass Band, Yuliana Karaulova, “Den’ vos’moy” (The Eighth Day), Arfa Sound, Kornelia Mango. There were also presentations by officials of the Republics of Russia and the national on-stage performance groups of Russia, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Serbia, the Republic of Altai and many others. The vibrant concert was the finale of the festival, after which guests made their way to the observation decks to watch the Russia Day fireworks.

The future of New Moscow.

New MOSCOW 24 / july 2016 / = New Moscow depicted as four distinct cities in the forest.

The whole idea is to relieve the pressure on the transport system in the existing center, and to that end a new high-speed rail terminal is planned for the new Federal City, while the expansion of Metro, Tram and road systems are also on the cards. «The proposed physical form builds on the natural system of waterways, lakes, forests and meadows as the foundation for a green infrastructure network to support the development of a zero carbon city,» said a statement released by the group. Unfortunately, the crisis hit New Moscow, and many projects will not be realized. However, the largest cemetery in Russia, «Havanskoe», will be here in New Moscow.

Residents are on strike, but the government does not hear the people. The first independent media in the New territories of Moscow ( New Moscow ) calls on all the English-speaking public and investors to get in touch with our editorial staff for dialogue. We are very easy to find through search engines. Just search for: New Moscow 24 or just: go straight to our website: NewM24.ru , NewMoscowCITY.com

Real estate is growing in New Moscow — www.CONDO.MOSCOW

New MOSCOW 24 / july 2016 / = The director of the Department of the Development of New Territories shared that by the end of the first 6 months of the current year, the new housing supply in the Troitsky and New Moscow Administrative Districts will reach the one-million mark.

“In June we are planning to lease 240 000 sq.m. of housing and will therefore surpass the significant measure of one million square meters,” he specified.

V. Zhidkin believes that one million sq. meters by the end of the first half of the year is a good index. In 2013 the amount of housing put into service in the same time frame was 606.5 thousand sq.m., going up to 802.7 thousand sq.m.  in 2014 and 957.7 thousand sq.m. in 2015.

Vladimir Zhidkin emphasized that the dynamics of housing construction in New Moscow is positive and its volume increases year by year. “However, housing itself isn’t a goal in itself,” says Zhidkin. “Our aim is to create a comfortable environment for the life of hundreds of thousands of people in the new territories, the number of which will increase to 1.5 million by the year 2035. To achieve this, by order of Moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin, we will make the amenity and transport infrastructure a priority. We have already opened over 30 schools and kindergartens in less than 4 years.”

A total of 3.4 sq.m. of real estate is to be placed into service by the end of 2016, including 2.4 million sq.m. of housing. We would like to clarify that the population of Old Moscow adds up to about 15 million inhabitants while New Moscow is home to a mere 380 thousand Muscovites.
